The hottest pony cars ever produced is Mustang Cobra R back in 2000 was considered the most teasing and refined car, well my opinion they where very right.
Cobra R were designed to be the fastest Mustangs ever built, capable of launching to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, dashing through the quarter mile in 13.2 seconds, and clocking a top speed of just over 170 mph.
This is one such car, claimed to be number 135 out of that batch of 300, and unbelievably it's still essentially a brand new car. It has only 84.5 miles on its odometer, plus its window sticker still untouched and plastic still covering its seats. The Cobra's R package were “Recaro” seats, 18-inch aluminum wheels, a 21 gallon fuel cell, racing shocks and springs, a side-pipe exhaust, plus an upgraded radiator, oil cooler, fuel pump, and brakes.
Today it asks a bit more then the original price, around $80,000; then again, given the rarity of Cobra R's and this car's claimed 84.8 miles traveled... perhaps it's not that expensive for a real Mustang collector.
